Ministry of Tourism Circular No. 72 to the Federation and Directorates regarding the Ministry of Finance's letter on exempting affected establishments

Circular No. / 72 / To: Federation of Tourism Chambers To: Tourism Directorates in the Governorates Via Fax and Official Mail We hereby forward to you the letter of the Ministry of Finance - General Authority for Taxes and Fees - dated June 7, 2026, registered under our reference No. 1244/W dated June 14, 2026, regarding the exemption of establishments damaged as a result of military operations or acts of sabotage by the former regime during the years of the revolution in the period extending from March 15, 2011, until December 8, 2024. The letter specifies the deadline for submitting applications to benefit from the provisions of Decree No. /69/ of 2026, (as the Ministry of Finance - General Authority for Taxes and Fees urges the taxpayers whose establishments sustained damages to expedite the submission of their applications to the competent financial directorates within the specified period to benefit from the exemptions defined by Decree No. /69/ of 2026). We hope you will inform all affected tourism projects in your respective governorates of the contents of the Ministry of Finance's letter - General Authority for Taxes and Fees - dated June 7, 2026, to act upon its substance duly and as quickly as possible.
