Federation President Attends 16th General Assembly of Northern Tourism Chamber

Mr. Mourhaf Nazha, President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Tourism, attended the 16th General Assembly meeting of the Northern Region Tourism Chamber (Aleppo - Idlib), held on Saturday, 18 April 2026 at Shahba Aleppo Hotel, with broad official and professional participation. Attendees included representatives from the Ministry of Tourism, the Aleppo Governorate, tourism and finance directorates in Aleppo and Idlib, federation leadership, chamber board members, and the presidents of the Northern Tourism Chamber and Aleppo Chamber of Commerce. The administrative and financial reports for 2025 were approved after discussion, and the previous board was discharged of liability. Members raised several interventions and requests, which the meeting affirmed would be followed up and addressed in coordination with the relevant authorities. The meeting concluded with an emphasis on continued cooperation to develop the tourism sector and strengthen its role in supporting the local economy.
