Federation President Attends Southern Tourism Chamber Assembly in Quneitra

Mr. Mourhaf Nazha, President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Tourism, attended the General Assembly meeting of the Southern Region Tourism Chamber (Daraa - As-Suwayda - Quneitra), held for the first time in Quneitra at the Cultural Center in Al-Salam City. The meeting was attended by a Ministry of Tourism representative, the Southern Region Tourism Chamber president, regional directors, executive office members, tourism directors in Quneitra and Daraa, chamber staff, and tourism establishment owners from both governorates. Participants affirmed the return of tourism activity in the governorate and the need to prioritize and fully support its development. Quneitra's tourism directorate chose to host the general assembly locally to highlight the governorate's distinctive geography, scenery, climate, and natural assets, and to discuss investment and a stronger tourism environment. Members voted to approve the 2025 budget and adopt the 2026 budget. After the meeting, participants visited tourist sites in Quneitra, including the historic Khan Arnabeh, and described the conference as a success by all measures.
