Minister of Finance Meets Tourism Federation President to Expand Partnership

As part of the Ministry of Finance's commitment to expanding partnership and dialogue with the business sector, Minister of Finance Mohammad Yusr Barnieh met with Mr. Mourhaf Nazha, President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Tourism, along with several federation members. The discussion focused on the new tax system and ways to build trust between the Ministry of Finance and tourism establishment owners — supporting business growth while strengthening tax compliance and contributions to national development. Participants exchanged ideas and practical solutions during the meeting. The Minister affirmed that the Ministry of Finance welcomes any proposals that serve the national economy.
